NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - New Jersey Transit says trains into and out of New York are running on or close to schedule with residual delays following an earlier Amtrak power problem.

NJ Transit says the power problem caused staggered train travel through the tunnels under the Hudson River.

Cross-honoring will be in effect with PATH, New Jersey Transit bus and private carriers and New York Waterway until midnight.

This summer has been plagued by delays for trains in the tunnel because of Amtrak power problems.
