BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - A 32-year-old woman arrested in Billings after she was found in a car with a dead man told officers he wanted to die and she had always wanted to try to kill someone with her bare hands.
The Billings Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1W5P93v ) Lindsay April Haugen made an initial appearance in Justice Court Thursday on a deliberate homicide charge in the death of 25-year-old Robert Glenn Mast.
Court records say police responding to a report of a drunk driver found Haugen’s vehicle in a parking lot. Charging documents say Haugen told officers she had been trying to perform CPR on her boyfriend after she strangled him.
Police say Haugen told them she put Mast in a chokehold until he was unconscious, then covered his nose and mouth.
Justice of the Peace David Carter set a $400,000 bond.
