VILLAGE OF OAK CREEK, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a Prescott man helped himself to food and drinks, opened a package and rearranged furniture after breaking into a home in the Village of Oak Creek.

James Woods is being held at the Yavapai County jail in Camp Verde on a $2,500 bond.

Sheriff’s spokesman Dwight D’Evelyn says the owners of the home called authorities Sunday night to report a burglary in progress. The 39-year-old Woods told authorities he had been living in the guest house for a few days. He also told authorities he moved the furniture because it didn’t suit his style.

D’Evelyn says Woods had found keys to the main house that were hidden on the property.

Woods was arrested on suspicion of burglary, trespassing and theft.

It’s unclear whether Woods has an attorney.
