RENO, Nev. (AP) - The number of arrests reported at this year’s Street Vibrations Fall Rally in Reno was 18, up from the 12 people arrested at last year’s motorcycle event.

The Reno Gazette-Journal reports (https://on.rgj.com/1FDxNah ) that four of the arrests at the rally held Wednesday through Saturday were for felonies. The other 14 misdemeanor arrests were mostly related to alcohol. Last year, there was only one felony arrest.

The department’s traffic division issued 92 citations during a three-day traffic enforcement near the venue. Most of the violations were for distracted driving, registration and speed.

Reno police Lt. Scott Dugan in a media release said this year’s event drew bigger crowds than last year. He added that officers experienced no major issues.
