NASCAR rep to speak at green business meeting in Columbia

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - A representative from NASCAR is speaking this week at a meeting in Columbia on sustainability.

Catherine Kummer is scheduled to deliver a keynote address on Tuesday at the Green is Good for Business Conference.

Kummer is NASCAR’s Director of Green Innovation. Organizers say she’s talking about the success of NASCAR Green, the racing organization’s sustainability platform.

The conference is taking place at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. It also features an expo featuring 25 vendors exhibiting sustainable products and services.
