PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Authorities say three people, including an 8-year-old girl, were injured after a man accidentally fired gunshots into a Philadelphia home.
It happened at around 8:30 p.m. Monday in the Feltonville section of the city. Police say the man picked up a firearm outside a home on Boudinot Street. The gun accidentally went off, entering the front bedroom of the house.
Police say a bullet grazed an 8-year-old girl in the left leg, a 22-year old woman was struck in the thigh and a 26-year-old woman was grazed in the back.
All three were taken to Einstein Medical Center and are currently in stable condition.
A search is underway for the man, who police say fled the scene after the shooting. No identities have been released.
