BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say a police officer in eastern Pennsylvania was injured after two suspects led police on a high-speed chase.

Bethlehem Township police responded to a tip around 6 p.m. Monday about a car parked at a hotel that contained drugs.

When the officers tried to approach the car, the driver attempted to speed away and hit two cars. Police say one of the officers had his arm pinned between two vehicles, injuring his elbow and hand.

The driver then led police on a high speed chase down Route 22. Police believe the suspect and his passenger abandoned the car after it collided with another vehicle.

Police say they were not located as of Monday night, but their car was found in Wilson.
