TIRANA, Albania (AP) - Albanian authorities say they have extradited to the United States a man accused of rape.
A police statement says that Luke Adrian Cooke, 34, left Tirana international airport Thursday.
Based on an international arrest warrant issued from Interpol Washington, Cooke was arrested in Albania in April.
The statement says Cooke has been accused by a court in Memphis, Tenn., of raping a 15-year old between January 2003 to May 2006 and of sexual harassment of an 8-year old in 2006.
