LAWTON, Okla. (AP) - Police in Lawton say a woman was killed when she was run over by her own pickup truck.
Police say 41-year-old Amy Petti John Rivera died in the accident in a parking lot on Wednesday.
Police say it appears Rivera was parking when she shifted the truck into reverse, rather than park. Officers say the truck began rolling backward as she got out of the vehicle and it knocked her to the ground and ran over her.
