LOS ANGELES (AP) - A man who carjacked three taxis and led police on a high-speed chase near Los Angeles International Airport has been sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Derrick Bogar was sentenced Wednesday after pleading guilty to carjacking, robbery, fleeing police and administering a drug.

Authorities say Bogar carjacked two different cabs parked at the airport on April 7 and 8, then carjacked a third taxi on April 10 and forced that driver to smoke a drug-laced cigarette before the cabbie managed to escape.

Police chased the stolen cab for two hours before SWAT officers stopped it and arrested Bogar.
