MAPLEWOOD, Minn. (AP) - Police say a Maplewood man sought in the shooting death of his wife is under arrest in Illinois.
Authorities say the 31-year-old man was captured Thursday at a private home in Waukegan, Illinois.
Investigators got tips that the man may have fled to Illinois and worked with police there to look for him.
Maplewood Police Chief Paul Schnell tells the St. Paul Pioneer Press that investigators from his department are on their way to Illinois and hope to speak to the man.
The victim, 41-year-old April Marie Tennin, was found shot to death Aug. 23 in a bathroom in the couple’s suburban home.
Police say there was an argument before the shooting. The husband’s vehicle was found the next day in Brooklyn Park.
