CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A Montgomery County jury has convicted two people of murder and two others of lesser charges in a 2014 slaying.

The Leaf-Chronicle (https://leafne.ws/22W5grw ) reports Matthew Lee Reynolds and Alphonso Richardson were found guilty Friday of first-degree premeditated murder, first-degree murder and especially aggravated kidnapping in the beating and strangulation death of 39-year-old Shirley Beck.

Cynthia Dianne Skipper was found guilty of two counts of criminally negligent homicide and especially aggravated kidnapping, and Derek M. Vicchitto was convicted of two counts of facilitation of second-degree murder and especially aggravated kidnapping.

Beck was beaten to death in the home they all shared in Clarksville. According to testimony in the case, Beck was known as a “house slave.”

Sentencing will be in May.
