UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) - A man who prosecutors say shot and killed his 2-year-old daughter and her mother over child support issues has been indicted in the crimes.
The Prince George’s County State’s Attorney’s Office said in a news release that 25-year-old Daron Boswell-Johnson of District Heights was indicted Thursday on two counts of first-degree murder.
Prosecutors say Boswell-Johnson killed Chloe Davis-Green and her mother, 26-year-old NeShante Davis, at their home in Fort Washington on Feb. 2.
Detectives say Boswell-Johnson had gone to the home to demand that Davis stop her efforts to get child support from him. Prosecutors say a court had ordered Boswell-Johnson court to pay $600 a month in child support after a November 2015 paternity test determined he was Chloe’s biological father.
Boswell-Johnson remains held without bond.
