TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Pima County authorities have made an arrest in connection with the discovery of a man’s body found buried on the northern outskirts of Tucson.
The Sheriff’s Department says homicide detectives’ investigation led to the arrest of 41-year-old Daniel Lindquist on suspicion of second-degree murder.
Lindquist is jailed and it’s not immediately known whether he has an attorney who could comment on his behalf.
The body was found late Thursday in the area of Oracle Road and Los Lomitas Road after a man led sheriff’s deputies to where the body was found.
Sheriff Chris Nanos says the body had signs of trauma and may have been buried for several weeks.
The victim’s identity hasn’t been released.
The county medical examiner’s office will do an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
