BUTLER, N.J. (AP) - Neighbors say a 23-year-old man was wounded in a police-involved shooting in Butler.

In a statement, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office said an incident occurred leading a police officer to discharge his weapon around 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Officials wouldn’t release any further details.

The Daily Record reports Friday (https://dailyre.co/1qmI1oR ) that neighbors say the wounded man was taken from the home on a stretcher with an oxygen mask on his face.
