ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - Police in Rochester are investigating a pair of fatal shootings that occurred in the city on the same day.
Officials say a 32-year-old man was shot around 11:30 a.m. Thursday inside a home on the city’s west side. Police say the man was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Officers say family members, including children, were inside the home when the shooting occurred. Police haven’t released the victim’s name or any other information.
Earlier Thursday, a 32-year-old man was fatally shot at a street corner. Police say they found Cesar Lopez Quinones dead in the driveway of an apartment complex about 3 a.m.
Police say they’re looking into whether the two shootings are connected.
No arrests have been made in either shooting.
