MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - A Shorter woman has been killed after her vehicle collided with a train in Montgomery.
Sgt. Steve Jarret of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency tells local media that 62-year-old Annie Tarver died Thursday evening when her 2006 Kia Optima collided with a CSX train at a railroad crossing in northeast Montgomery.
No other details of the crash have been released. Troopers continue to investigate.
