BRENTWOOD, Pa. (AP) - Some teenagers scavenging for deer antlers instead found badly decomposed human remains in the woods of a Pittsburgh suburb.

Allegheny County police and the medical examiner were called to an area near the Brentwood Public Works Building about 5:45 p.m. Thursday.

The remains are said to be clothed and appear to be those of a man, though investigators must still confirm that.

There were no obvious signs of foul play, but that won’t be determined until after the remains are more thoroughly examined Friday.

Authorities had to use quad runners to access the area.
