QUEENSBURY, N.Y. (AP) - A New York man has pleaded guilty to killing his friend by running him over in the driveway of the upstate apartment building where they both lived.

The Post-Star of Glens Falls reports (bit.ly/1RR0UMQ) 50-year-old entered his plea Thursday in a Warren County court.

Authorities say Deso was arguing with 38-year-old Christopher Eddy on Nov. 20 in the driveway at their apartment building in the village of Lake George.

Witnesses told police Eddy jumped on the hood of a car as Deso backed out of the driveway. Deso told police he was trying to throw Eddy off the hood when he accidentally ran over the man, killing him.

Deso faces up to 6 months in the county jail and five years on probation, but could avoid jail time depending on the findings of a pre-sentence investigation.
