RESERVE, La. (AP) - Authorities say two Jefferson Parish teenagers have been arrested on charges of causing $10,000 in damage to East St. John Elementary School in Reserve.
St. John the Baptist Parish authorities tell NOLA.com/The Times-Picayune (https://bit.ly/1ZQhs7T) school surveillance video helped to identify the suspects, who were spotted near the school by investigators.
Deputies say a school system employee reported the vandalism Wednesday after finding glass doors and windows shattered in the main administrative building. Inside the building a fire extinguisher had been discharged.
Boys, ages 14 and 16, faces charges of trespassing and simple criminal damage to property.
Deputies say the boys, who were not identified because of their age, were in Reserve visiting a relative.
