PHOENIX (AP) - Police say three people have been arrested in connection with a shooting in south Phoenix.

Authorities say the incident happened early Sunday morning after several people left a bar near 19th Avenue and Broadway Road.

Police say that group got in a vehicle that was then pursued by another vehicle carrying the suspects.

That is when someone in the suspect vehicle allegedly fired a weapon at the other car.

Sgt. Trent Crump says one person was wounded in the leg.

That person’s condition is believed to be not life-threatening.

Officers were able to stop the suspect’s vehicle.

Crump did not release the victim or the suspects’ names.
