LEBANON, Tenn. (AP) - The Tennessee Highway Patrol says two Elmwood residents have been killed and five other people were injured in a single-car accident on Interstate 40.

The Tennessean (https://tnne.ws/1SqdQ6G) reports the accident occurred Saturday night in Lebanon.

The Highway Patrol says 32-year-old passenger Jessica Taylor and 28-year-old passenger Jonathan Lustre were killed. According to the patrol, the SUV they were riding in rolled over and landed on its roof. Taylor and Lustre were the only passengers not wearing seat belts.



An investigation into the accident continues.
