LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Louisville police say three people have died in a car accident along Interstate 64.

Media outlets report a woman and two youths were in a car that collided with a minivan on the westbound side and later was hit by another vehicle on Saturday night.

Louisville Metro Police spokeswoman Alicia Smiley says in a news release that the car with the three passengers inside burst into flames. The victims were pronounced dead at the scene. The car’s driver was able to exit the vehicle and was taken to a hospital along with another driver with non-life threatening injuries.
