WEST MILFORD, N.J. (AP) - Officials in Passaic County say a body found in Long Pond Ironworks State Park has been identified as that of a Jersey City man who had been missing since March.

Wajhat Yaqoob’s body was pulled from the water Friday.

The 21-year-old had been reported missing on March 10.

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia Valdes says a report was received about the body Friday morning, and it was recovered several hours later.

The prosecutor’s office is investigating.

The park contains remnants of ironworks that date back to before the Revolutionary War and features a museum and visitors center.
