FAIRFIELD, Ala. (AP) - A brother and sister have been charged with murder after the shooting death of a man in the parking lot of a gas station in central Alabama.
Al.com reports (https://bit.ly/25T1ZIi ) that Barbara Washington and Vincent Washington were charged Saturday in the fatal shooting of 28-year-old Adarius Elon Williams.
Fairfield Police Chief Leon Davis says Williams was found with multiple gunshots wounds at a Citgo station on Friday, a day after his birthday.
Davis says investigators believe the shooting stemmed from a long-standing feud and could be linked to a previous homicide.
Barbara Washington is being held at the Jefferson County Jail with a $60,000 bond. Vincent Washington remains hospitalized with gunshot wounds to the stomach and hand, but his bond will also be set at $60,000 once he is released.
