MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - A dust storm warning has been issued for seven counties in far northeast Arkansas and two in the Missouri boot heel.

The National Weather Service in Memphis, Tennessee, says the warning is in effect until 9 p.m. Sunday.

The weather service says southerly winds of 25 to 35 miles per hour and gusts of up to 50 miles per hour are blowing the dry delta soil and severely limiting visibility and people with respiratory problems are advised to remain indoors.

The winds also make travel hazardous for high profile vehicles.

Arkansas counties affected are Craighead, Poinsett, Mississippi, Randolph, Clay, Lawrence and Greene while the Missouri counties are Dunklin and Pemiscot.
