HOLYOKE, Mass. (AP) - A late night shooting in Holyoke has sent one man to the hospital.
Police say the victim, described as a 20-year-old man, was shot multiple times in the legs and lower back, at about 10:45 p.m. Sunday in the area of Appleton and Linden Streets.
The victim was taken to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
There was no word on arrests but the investigation is ongoing. Police received multiple 911 calls and are questioning witnesses.
