DENVER (AP) - Colorado wrestler Adeline Gray is headed to the Rio Games after winning the championship round at the U.S. Olympic Trials Sunday night in Iowa.
The 25-year-old three-time world champion beat Victoria Francis of Litchfield, Illinois in the best-of-three finals showdown.
Gray is a graduate of Bear Creek High School.
The Denver Post (https://dpo.st/1UVF7Ex) reports that Gray’s rooting section in Iowa City included her parents, her three sisters and her boyfriend.
