ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - A seriously injured Wasilla man spent six hours trapped in his overturned pickup after a weekend crash.
Alaska State Troopers at about 4:30 p.m. Saturday responded to a report of a truck off the road at Mile 17 Point Mackenzie Road.
Troopers say a pickup driven by 41-year-old Michael Chadwick left the road, traveled down an embankment and flipped.
The crash was not discovered for six hours.
Emergency responders extracted Chadwick.
He was flown to Providence Medical Center in Anchorage with injuries troopers described as serious but not life-threatening.
