TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - Fire officials say a 51-year-old man has died in an apartment fire in Toledo.
Fire Chief Luis Santiago says the fire broke out in a first-floor unit of the Deerfield Run Apartments around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday and firefighters were able to control the blaze in about 30 minutes. Santiago says the victim was found in apartment’s living room.
Authorities didn’t immediately identify the man.
No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
