AMHERST, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say a young man remains hospitalized after he and another teenager were hit by gunfire in a suburban Buffalo parking lot.

Police in the town of Amherst say a fight that began inside Habibi Sheesha Lounge around 2 a.m. Sunday spilled into the parking lot, where someone opened fire.

Police say an 18-year-old Buffalo man was hit in the foot. He was treated at Erie County Medical Center and released. Officers say a 19-year-old Buffalo man was shot in the neck and is listed in guarded condition at the same hospital.

The scene of the shooting is across the street from the University at Buffalo’s South Campus.

No arrests have been announced.
