PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) - Prescott police say a 73-year-old man is dead following a crash in which the man’s SUV careened into gas pumps and two parked vehicles at a convenience store.
Police say the SUV first struck an unoccupied vehicle and then gas pumps, shoving them into a second parked vehicle. Seven people were in that vehicle but police say they didn’t need immediate medical attention.
The incident occurred late Sunday in the area of Gurley and Sheldon streets.
The investigation remains under investigation and police say a medical examiner will determine the manner and cause of the SUV driver’s death.
The driver’s identity hasn’t been released.
