CUMBERLAND, Ky. (AP) - Volunteers will be doing some spring cleaning later this month at Kingdom Come State Park in eastern Kentucky.

The event was originally planned for this Saturday, but the date has been changed to April 23 at the park near Cumberland.

Volunteers will pick up trash, remove brush, plant flowers and do some trail work. Organizers ask that volunteers bring their own hand tools, but no chain saws. Snacks and water will be available.

People participating will meet at the lower shelter at 9 a.m., and the event lasts until 3 p.m.

Kingdom Come State Park offers hiking trails, mountain scenery, fishing, picnic areas, primitive campsites, mini-golf and pedal boats.
