SNEEDVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Authorities have identified a person of interest in the wake of the deaths of a couple whose bodies were found in a northeastern Tennessee home.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation tells news outlets that Hancock County Sheriff’s Office has issued a warrant against 30-year-old Ricky Helmick on a kidnapping charge against his father, 57-year-old Ricky Helmick.

Authorities say the younger Helmick is also a person of interest in the deaths of his father and 37-year-old Natasha Riley, near Sneedville.

The bodies of the two victims were found Friday. Their deaths were ruled as homicides.

No further information had been released, as of late Sunday.
