LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities in Las Vegas have identified a 34-year-old woman who was killed when police said she jumped from a stolen work vehicle and was dragged beneath it.

The Clark County coroner reported Monday that Maricel Param Menina died of multiple head and chest injuries in the Friday morning incident. Her death was ruled an accident.

The coroner didn’t list Menina’s hometown, but police said she was from Costa Mesa, California.

Police say the driver, 31-year-old Joshua Cyran, and 58-year-old passenger Lawrence Younger Jr. also jumped from the Ford F-450 work truck after a patrol officer pulled behind it.

Cyran is jailed pending a court appearance on felony vehicle theft, driving under the influence, hit-and-run and probation violation charges.

Younger is jailed for allegedly failing to register as a sex offender.
