MIDDLETOWN SPRINGS, Vt. (AP) - One person has died in a house fire in Middletown Springs.
Vermont State Police say they responded to the fire around 4 a.m. Wednesday and discovered a dead woman inside the home.
Police say the victim was identified as 69-year-old Leslie Caceres. Family members say she lived alone in the home.
The cause of the fire has not been determined. Police say it does not appear to be suspicious.
