LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) - Authorities say a Las Cruces woman has been arrested after allegedly pointing a loaded gun at her boyfriend during an argument.

Las Cruces police say 26-year-old Ryann Wagner is being held on suspicion of one count each of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and battery against a household member.

It was unclear Wednesday if she has a lawyer yet.

Police say officers were called out to a reported domestic dispute at a Las Cruces residence just before midnight Tuesday.

Investigators say Wagner allegedly pointed a loaded handgun at her 34-year-old boyfriend when he tried to gather his belongings and leave.

Police say officers recovered the handgun in Wagner’s bedroom.

Wagner was booked into the Dona Ana County Detention Center where she was initially being held without bond.
