BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Sanford Health has received a $10,000 grant from the BNSF Railway Foundation to support an effort to provide health care services directly in the western North Dakota oil fields.

Sanford has two MobileMED units in the oil patch. One is in Watford City and the other sees patients in Underwood and Stanton.

Sanford says the BNSF grant was used to offset startup costs.

Dakotas-based Sanford Health is one of the largest health systems in the nation with 43 hospitals and nearly 250 clinics in nine states and three countries.
