TULSA, Okla. (AP) - University of Tulsa basketball coach Frank Haith has announced the signing of five players to national letters of intent.

The five announced Wednesday include two high school players and three transfers.

The five are guard Joseph Battle of Abbeville High School in South Carolina; forward Will Magnay from the Australian Institute of Sports; Eugene Artison from College of Southern Idaho; Jaleel Wheeler from Kilgore College in Texas; and Curran Scott from the University of Charlotte.

Among the transfers, Artison will have three years of eligibility and Wheeler will have two years and both are eligible immediately. Scott must sit out next year and will then have three remaining years of eligibility.

Tulsa has signed nine players to replace nine seniors on the past season’s roster.
