PRICEVILLE, Ala. (AP) - State troopers say an Alabama Department of Transportation employee was killed and another was injured in a crash on I-65 in Morgan County.

Senior Trooper Johnathan Appling said in an emailed statement that two cars crashed on I-65 north of Priceville Thursday morning before colliding with a parked ALDOT vehicle. Appling says two employees were outside the vehicle and were also struck.

Appling says one of the workers was pronounced dead on the scene and the drivers of both vehicles were also injured.

The victim’s name has not been released. Appling says the crash is under investigation.
