ROCKWOOD, Pa. (AP) - Authorities have ruled the death of an 86-year-old man found dead in a Pennsylvania home earlier this week a homicide.

Somerset County Coroner Wallace Miller conducted an autopsy on Dale Meyers on Wednesday and says the man died from blunt force trauma.

Police say Meyers was found in his Middlecreek Township home on Tuesday afternoon. It’s unclear how long Meyers was dead before he was found.

No arrests have been made.

The killing remains under investigation.
