Eastern Michigan hosting 30th annual teacher job fair

YPSILANTI, Mich. (AP) - Eastern Michigan University is hosting a 30th annual teacher job fair.

The event is Friday at Bowen Field House at the Ypsilanti school, which is known for educating future teachers at its College of Education.

The school says potential employers and recruiters will be looking to fill jobs in dozens of Michigan districts as well as states including Alaska, California, Florida, New Mexico, South Carolina, Texas and Washington. There also are job openings in China.

Recruiters will have the chance to conduct brief interviews with candidates, so attendees should dress in business attire and bring copies of their resume. Details are posted on the university’s website.
