SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) - The group Landmarks Illinois has released its annual list of what it considers the most endangered historic places in the state. Here’s a list in alphabetical order by community:

1. Central High School and neighborhood, Champaign, Champaign County.

2. Cornell Store and Flats in Chicago, Cook County.

3. St. Adalbert Church and Chicago’s historic Catholic churches, Chicago, Cook County.

4. Citizens Savings and Loan Association Building, East Alton, Madison County.



5. Harley Clarke Mansion, Evanston, Cook County.

6. Historic neighborhood schools, Highland Park, Lake County, and Rockford, Winnebago County.

7. Massac County Courthouse, Metropolis, Massac County.

8. Salem Armory, Salem, Marion County.

9. YWCA Building, Springfield, Sangamon County.

10. Illinois Youth Center Auditorium and Gymnasium, St. Charles, Kane County.

11. Lakewood Farms, Wauconda, Lake County.
