NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - North Charleston police have charged a man with murder after a buried body was found behind a restaurant near Interstate 526.

Police spokesman Spencer Pryor tells local media that the body was found Wednesday morning after a 35-year-old man told authorities he killed the person and led police to the body.

The victim’s name has not been released but police say he had been reported missing last Saturday.

Pryor says Rolando Aldama-Ocampo has been charged with murder, possession of cocaine and trafficking methamphetamine. It was not clear if he has an attorney.
