LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Brown-Forman Corp. says its new Kentucky distillery will span bourbon production.

The company says its Old Forester bourbon will be distilled, aged and bottled at the distillery in downtown Louisville. Barrels to age the whiskey also will be made at the distillery.

The company says the $45 million distillery project is set for completion in late 2017.

It says the distillery will produce 100,000 cases of Old Forester yearly.

Growing demand means some of the brand’s whiskey will continue to be made at a distillery in Shively, even after the new facility opens.

Old Forester is the company’s founding brand.

Brown-Forman on Wednesday released renderings of the Old Forester Distillery, which will feature a tasting room for visitors.

The company’s brands include Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey and Woodford Reserve bourbon.
