ATLANTA (AP) - Grammy-nominated musician Ryan Leslie will be hosting a tech panel with the focus on bridging the gap between music and technology.
Leslie will take part in Beyond the Mic panel Thursday evening at the Tech Square Labs in midtown Atlanta. He is expected to also speak about his new app “SuperPhone,” which he created and coded.
Through the app, music artists such as Leslie will be able to share their music with fans. It allows users to communicate personally with singers and rappers through SMS messages.
Lil Wayne, Kevin Jonas and Hopsin are using the app.
Leslie is known for hit songs including “Diamond Girl” and “Addiction.” He’s logged studio time with Madonna, Jay Z Kanye West and Beyoncé.
Leslie will also perform at Center Stage on Saturday night.
