SAN ANTONIO (AP) - San Antonio police say they’ve broken a shoplifting ring that they say fed into a woman’s online marketing of stolen cosmetics.

Celia Nichole Sanchez was released Thursday on $5,000 bond one day after her arrest on an organized retail theft charge. Jail records listed no attorney for the 27-year-old San Antonio woman.

A police statement says officers followed a known serial shoplifter to a house on the southeastern fringe of San Antonio. There, the subject was seen conducting a transaction with Sanchez for what turned out to be an assortment of high-end cosmetics from Ulta retail stores later valued at about $6,000.

Officers, entering the house and arresting Sanchez, found more Ulta cosmetics valued at around $4,000 that police say Sanchez was selling from her home and online.
