SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (AP) - All lanes of Interstate 5 in northern Los Angeles County were briefly shut down after a crash of a big rig and two other vehicles sent the truck veering off the freeway and into a power pole.

The California Highway Patrol says utility crews were called to cut electricity to the downed lines following the crash around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday near Castaic.

CHP Officer Francisco Villalobos says no injuries were reported.

After the power was cut, the southbound lanes were reopened shortly before 12:30 a.m. Three of four northbound lanes were cleared about 1 a.m.

One northbound lane remained closed as crews continued their work.

The crash is under investigation by the CHP.
