FREMONT, Calif. (AP) - Police in the San Francisco Bay Area are looking for the rightful owner of a collection of bronze Disney character bars.

KNTV reports (https://bit.ly/1ShLaD0 ) Thursday that the more than two dozen bars, pristinely wrapped in plastic, were likely stolen during a burglary somewhere in the Bay Area. They were uncovered during a probation search in Hayward, where a man was arrested on unrelated charges.

Fremont police on Wednesday posted images of the Donald Duck, Elvis Presley and Lone Ranger palm-sized rectangular decorative souvenirs on Pinterest, Twitter and Facebook hoping that whoever owns the collection will come to claim it, the station reported.

Police did not release information on the value of the collection or the exact circumstances of the burglary.

Anyone with information on the burglary should call police.
