BISBEE, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities in Cochise County say a woman has been injured after the car she was driving went over a steep embankment in Bisbee.
County Sheriff’s officials say emergency crews were trying to extricate the woman from the car Thursday afternoon.
Her name wasn’t immediately released.
She reportedly was the only person in the vehicle.
Sheriff’s officials say they were advised of the accident about 11:30 a.m. Thursday on Highway 80 near Old Divide Road.
They say Bisbee police and fire crews from Bisbee, Fort Huachuca, Douglas, Fry and Sierra Vista responded to the scene.
State Route 80 on the east side of the tunnel is closed until the woman and vehicle are removed from the area.
